A DAY OF cafe/คาเฟ่ is a calm spot tucked along the quiet road beside Khlong Phitthaya Longkhro, on the outskirts of Bangkok’s Bang Khun Thian district. This cafe fits comfortably into a neighborhood that values low-key, nature-adjacent spaces—a bit removed from the usual city buzz but still close enough for a peaceful coffee break without the usual crowds.

The overall vibe is laid-back and unpretentious, with a straightforward interior and a relaxed outdoor setting that invites lingering. It draws local residents from nearby areas like Prachauthit and folks willing to make the short escape for a weekend retreat away from the traffic and noise. Many visitors take the opportunity to enjoy some quiet moments here before heading to nearby beachside Bangkhuntien for seafood and fresh air.

Coffee at A DAY OF is clearly a focus. The menu features several crafted options including interesting twists like a Strawberry Matcha Latte, Mango Cold Brew, and a distinctive Yuzu Espresso. The presence of a good grinder and espresso machine doesn't go unnoticed by those who care about coffee craftsmanship, making it a reliable stop for well-made espresso-based drinks like their smooth Honey Latte or straightforward Americano.

Beyond coffee, the bakery and toast offerings stand out for their homey touch — think freshly baked croissants in plain, chocolate, or almond, alongside creative toast plates topped with whipped cream and ice cream. The chocolate mousse toast and lemon blueberry toast come across as thoughtful accompaniments to the drinks, with enough richness to please anyone who enjoys sweets that aren’t over-the-top.

Because of its family-friendly atmosphere and the easy pace of the space, this cafe works well for a casual meet-up, a quiet solo working spot, or a relaxed afternoon with friends or family. It isn’t aiming for high-concept interior design or flashy Instagram shots but instead sticks to being functional and welcoming, where the quality of the coffee and baked goods take center stage.

Visiting on a weekend or a sunny afternoon gives you the best chance to soak up the calm setting, away from the noise of central Bangkok. If you’re someone who appreciates thoughtfully brewed coffee paired with fresh, handcrafted pastries in a setting that encourages slowing down and enjoying the moment, A DAY OF cafe offers an approachable and genuine experience.

If you are looking for a cozy and quiet place away from town to connect with nature, here is the place that I highly recommend. I live in the Prachauthit area, which is about a 15-minute drive from my home. It may take you around 1.5 hours to get here from town by car, but you can spend time here and then continue to #Bangkhuntien to enjoy the seafood.

Where do I even start! The place, the drinks, the cakes & pastries, the atmosphere. I just love everything here! I don’t like those cafes where they focus mainly on making it look instagrammable but this one is totally not on of those. Not only the drinks are good but I’d say their pastries might be even better. So if you visit, make sure to try them out. (I asked if they’re sourcing it but guess what? All homemade by the owner) The only thing about this place is that its location is far from the city and is only accessible by car. I live across the town so it takes me quite sometimes to get there but it’s totally worth it. I just love how it felt like to sit on their porch by the canal getting fresh air and watching a scenic sunset Okay so long story short, they make me wanna go back there again and I did. This is one of the few cafes I will be repeating.
